Thiruvambadi Devaswom Case; Implead Central Govt as Party

Hindu Seva Kendram impleaded the Union Government as a party in a case filed in the High Court in connection with the sale of temple property to pay off Rs 80 crore debt of the Thiruvambadi Devaswom. The central government was added in the said case in a reasonable belief that the state government system, which was taking an anti-Hindu stand, would do no good to the Hindu community. Advocate Krishnaraj has filed the case in the High Court on behalf of Hindu Seva Kendram. Devaswom Board, Thiruvambadi Devaswom, South Indian Bank and the District Judge are among the other parties in the said case.

Hindu Seva Kendram filed a complaint in the Honorable High Court of Kerala, challenging the Devaswom Board’s sale of deity’s properties to settle a debt of Rs 80 crore. Thiruvambadi Devaswom has invited tenders for the sale of deity’s properties. Devaswom Board is in debt of around Rs 80 crore due to corruption and mismanagement. The tender to pay off the debt of Rs 80 crore is in the midst of controversy over the disbursement of Rs 3 crore from a private lease for Devaswom property, deposit of Rs 70 lakh in a personal account related to Sandeepani School and misappropriation of 42 sovereigns related to deity’s ornaments.

Devaswom has the power only to manage the deity’s properties. It is a serious violation of law and corruption by the management to sell the deity’s property. In view of this, the petition filed prayed the court to take over the administration of the temple from the Thiruvambadi Devaswom and to stop the tender process. The petition also demanded that the debt incurred by Devaswom be recovered from the property of the corrupt rulers.

Hindu Seva Kendram has lodges complaint against All India Imams Council

Hindu Seva Kendram has lodged a complaint with the police against the leaders of the All India Imams Council for making hate speech challenging the Indian judicial system. The complaint was based on a march and a dharna in the name of “Babri in search of justice” organized by the All India Imams Council, Kerala on October 1 to protest against the court order relating to the construction of the Ram temple.

Addressing the march, everyone in the said Council spoke insultingly of the esteemed court and the Hindu community here, and a video of it was aired live on social media. The conference was held in contempt of the nation, the judiciary and even the judges and also a reference was made on the demolition of Hindu idols in Makkah and the construction of the Kaaba. They stated that the similar will happen in Ram temple and they wont spare anyone who are set free by the Court.

The complaint was lodged with the Commissioner of Police by Sreenath Padmanabhan, state secretary for Hindu Seva Kendram.

While the government ignored this march and dharna during the Covid period as maintaining “secularism”, where as Hindu Seva Kendram is not prepared to pretend not to see any challenge to the Hindu community. Going forward….

Hindu Seva Kendram to Challenge Malabar Devaswom Board on Salary Challenge

A recent notification issued by the Malabar Devaswom Board dated 18-05-2020, demanded for the payment of Devaswom funds and employees’ salaries to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund from temples under the Devaswom Board.

As per the notification, A-level temples under the Devaswom Board would be given Rs.1 Lakh and it is also proposed to deduct one day wages from the salary of the temple employees for a period of 12 months. This is in addition to the funds the temple has to remit. Hindu Seva Kendra will take this matter to the Court against the injustice shown to the Hindu community by insisting that only donations from Hindu temples be donated to the Relief Fund.

Hindu Seva Kendra will file the complaint with the High Court of Kerala in this regard. The public has seen what happened to the Flood Relief Fund and the Okhi Relief Fund. This kind of discriminatory interference is a conspiracy to annihilate the Hindu society. The Devaswom Board is in a hurry when all the temples in Kerala are closed due to Covid-19 and there is a huge distress on the income of the temples and the employees.

Join hands with Hindu Seva Kendra and extend your support in this move.
