PROBLEM
Ordinary Hindus in all parts of India are plagued by high levels of poverty, low quality healthcare, financial distress and lack of education. In Kerala, these problems, amongst others, are contributing to a rapid decline in Hindu population and culture. Unfortunately, this plight of Hindus receives little to no media attention.Numerous organizations are engaged in well intentioned charity work to support Hindus. However, they are unable to stem the tide.
In other words, Sanathana Dharma is on a fast track to extinction.
SOLUTION
In order to save Hindus and our culture from extinction, we need to think, and act, outside the box.
Currently, all Hindu activism is “reactive,” meaning, responding to a crisis and providing help without any follow-up. This kind of service is unable to fundamentally change the dynamics of any population.
Hindu Seva Kendram aims to provide “proactive” services at the grassroots level in every Panchayat by reaching out to every Hindu, identifying their needs, helping them in distress, and using systematic follow-up to ensure a consolidated and prosperous Hindu community.
