Ekal Vidyalayam, Wayanad extended its assistance to the tribal community in Wayanad by providing a TV for educational activities and a sewing machine for livelihood. Malayalam cinema artist, Santosh Pandit, handed over the TV and the sewing machine to the needy in the tribal village. Mrs. Vijayakumari of Wayanad Ekal Vidyalaya had requested Hindu helpline for the support and Hindu Seva Kendra immediately coordinated measures to provide TV and sewing machine.
In the previous week, Hindu Seva Kendram had donated a TV to the Anganawadi in Attappady and a sewing machine to a family as a livelihood. Film star Santosh Pandit was present then at the event along with Hindu Seva Kendram Volunteers. The Anaganavadi and the family are located at Ayyappan and Koshyam movie fame Aattappadi Nakupathi Nanjiyamma’s village.
