An Elderly Mother Fighting with Cancer Seeks the Support of Well-wishers

Ms. Sudha (55), a housewife from Malainkeezhu in Thiruvananthapuram district, has been bedridden for 7 months due to cancer. She used to make a living by raising cows, is now seeking the help of well-wishers for her treatment. Hindu Seva Kendra Trivandrum District Team visited the mother’s house and delivered provisions & medicines.

She is under the care of her son, Mr. Arun. Eventhough being an electrician, he is now unable to go to work as he has to attend his mother 24×7. So far, the treatment has cost around Rs 3 lakh. The money was raised with the help of the neighbors and by selling the cattles which were their livelihood. Now there is only one cow left in their house for daily expenses.

Doctors have suggested another surgery to bring her back to life. They have approached all the authorities, including MLA for support, but amidst the Covid Crisis, it will take time to get due support.

They need huge money for their survival. Apart from survival, they need raise funds for the surgery to save her life. Let us all contribute whatever we can to bring this mother back to their normal life
