District Collector Initiates Enquiry on Vadakkumnatha Temple Land Encroachment

District Collector takes action against Vadakkunnathan’s temple land encroachments. The District Collector ordered related authorities to inspect and report on the encroachment and misappropriation of Devaswom land. Paramekavu Devaswom had passed a resolution in this regard.

Advocate Pratheesh Vishwanath and Advocate Krishnaraj visited the Vadakkunnatha temple in connection with the encroachment and are taking necessary legal action in this regard. The order from District Collector’s action is an indication of the success of the struggle of Hindus against injustice.

According to revenue records, the encroachment was on acres of land of Vadakkunnathan at Panancherry village and Chempukkavu village. Hindu Seva Kendram has a long history of reclaiming the encroached temple properties. We will stand together with Adv.Pratheesh Viswanath and Adv.Krishnaraj.
