Moksham Scheme – A Revival

Hindu Seva Kendram started the Moksham scheme aimed at helping Hindus who don’t own any piece of land to cremate their deceased ones.

An interesting event happened recently in Alappuzha.

Previous generation of a family had converted to Christianity. When a member of the current generation passed away, they were denied burial space in the church cemetery by the CSI congregation. Their reason was the church’s stand that they cannot be considered as Christians.

The hapless and devastated family reached out to us for help.

We did not hesitate and performed the cremation of the deceased as per Hindu customs without any charges.

Remember.

We can have our differences and arguments and can be resolved amicably. Conversion is not a solution.

We Hindus are one family and we deal with our problems as a family.

Soul vulture will coerce and deceive you into converting as you are just another number, in the target they have, for increasing numbers. They will ditch you when the target is met. Please don’t become prey to these vultures.

We pray for the sadgati of the deceased soul.
