We had earlier posted the sad story of Geetha, a cancer-stricken mother and her three daughters, who lives in the shadow of Hindu Seva Kendram in Palkulangara in Thiruvananthapuram district. Their elderly grandmother died a few days ago. Hindu Seva Kendram have announced a Scholarship Scheme for the youngest school going kid in the family and with the help of kind souls the volunteers handed over the sum required for her education. The family is listed under various schemes of The Hindu Seva Kendram and they are receiving the help for meeting their medical as well as daily expenses.

The family was in despair as the Head of the family, the only breadwinner was not able to continue his job due to the neuropathy of the axillary nerve (AND) (A serious issue with shoulder nerve). They were provided with food by a few kind souls employed with The General Insurance Division of Bajaj Allianz. Annalakshmi Yojana is a scheme to ensure essential food security for Hindu families.
